More like treating sub-clinical infections and removing toxins, but that's not lamestream kosher yet. The new, new thing is black mold and other insidious yeast/mold/fungal infections that lamestream medicine is clueless about or to effectively treat. Isn't scientific progress wonderful? <sarcasm>
Hey pugchief, how do you feel -- as a dentist -- about being replaced with an unerring, perfect robot?
BTW, if Alzheimer's is a concern, the Longvida form of curcumin crosses the blood-brain barrier to remove the plaques.

I will be retired before that ever happens. My son and daughter-in-law, who are both also dentists have a lot of other worries headed their way before they need to be concerned about robot replacement. Too many dentists in metro areas, declining dental insurance, reduced reimbursement rates, declining decay, etc.

Also, where do you get the Longvida form of curcumin? Wow, a dentist family! That's pretty cool. I have noticed there seems to be an amazing, if not ridiculous, amount of dentists out there. I had no idea there was so many people in dire need of dental care to support so many dentists. You know, if I were you, I would upscale your declining client base by lising on ZocDoc. Less work, more money? Here's the Longvida I bought (they're not inexpensive): www.amazon.com/Now-Foods-Curcubrain-Longvida-Count/dp/B00K31PXSU/I haven't tried it myself yet, but put the parental unit on it about a week ago.

A dentist recommending preventing gum disease to prevent Alzheimer's disease. How convenient!

A dentist recommending preventing gum disease to prevent Alzheimer's disease. How convenient! (provocative) Umm, the guy who wrote the linked article is not a dentist, and I merely quoted him. There is also a well known link between gum disease and systemic health. [/not another conspiracy theory]
