What exactly does that mean? Do you feel like a man sitting down to urinate??? Take that feeling and imagine a transgendered person forced to go into a bathroom that matches his/her/its biological sex, but not his/her/its gender. Without getting too deeply into my bathroom habits, I don't find that feelings of masculinity emanate from how I pee. Is this going to turn out like that time when you thought that masculinity came from driving an F-150? Again, I don't give a shit which bathroom a transgender person uses as long as it matches their outward gender and they can pass reasonably well. It simply doesn't come up. It's a distraction. This was not a major problem for society. It was not even a minor problem for society. I'll venture that it was not even a problem for most transgender people. The whole thing is a waste of time.

Well, I suspect its only a potential major issue during the identity-sexual seeking years, i.e. kids and teens. That's why the ruckus seems to be over youngster's bathrooms. We all want to do right by them and give them a trophy so they don't feel excluded from humanity or their own humanity. Trust me, wielding and controlling the tool and being able to direct your stream to wherever (or whoever!) you choose is very dominant behavior. And masculinity is tied into dominance, right? And dominance arises from the biological phenomenom of having more muscle and strength which is always (AFAIK) manifested in the male form of biological sexuality, right? Here's an example from pandas: So imagine how confused these "gender fluid" youngsters are. They need their "safe space". A unisex, single person bathroom seems to fit the job!

PS, don't fall into the trap of using the word gender. We are male and female - the word sex deals with biological plumbing one was born with (the external genitalia and larger breasts or lack thereof). AFWIW, I agree with you wholeheartedly. It was not an issue in New Orleans in 1974 when some of the Bourbon Street performers came into the womens' bathroom - equiped with large breasts and a penis. My wife can't remember whether he/she stood or squatted or sat. She really did not care. So, for the past 42 years it was a nothing. It is just a manufactured DISTRACTION with a more insidious agenda in play (according to the article I linked to earlier). ... M

Funny how people can engage you in seemingly civil conversation here and yet feign outrage at one's posts there!
